Manly (un) Scenic Walkway

We planned to do a 9.5 kilometer walk along Manly's Scenic walkway to Spit bridge today. And boy was that more than we thought it was gonna be. It wasn't very scenic and was mostly through the wilderness, up a ton of uneven stairs. Or through random parts of residential neighborhoods and people's backyards. Took us 3 1/2 hours to do and when we finished, we didn't think we'd be able to catch the bus because we didn't have bus tickets. We did though and went back to Manly for a quick stop at the Manly Long Board Co. and had Chinese for dinner. It's about 8 o'clock now and we're already pooped. I guess we had to have one day in there that we didn't enjoy. We were on such a roll until today. Manly Beach is still probably my favorite spot in town.
