For Dad's birthday we had a late but good start with a cooked brunch at a local American Diner but the weather was pretty pants, drizzly and grey (nothing like the floods in Essex though!) we went for a mega drive across Norfolk and when we got back to the cabin late afternoon I was desperate for a walk so had a good wander around the lake, whilst I was on the phone to Luke I watched countless carp flipping up above the surface and this little chap came and waddled around me for a bit, it was peaceful and lovely.

we then had a bit of a disaster with dinner as we didn't book anywhere and couldn't get a table or the pubs were simply not wheelchair accessible. In the end we got ready meals and cook you own indian takeaway from sainsburys and took it back to the cabin! paul and I worked suprisingly well together getting it all cooked up! Happy 73rd Birthday Dad! XX
