The annual (sic) Village Olympics was held at Ashcombe Village Hall on 25th August. Ashcombe Village Club hosts the event and the villages of Ashcombe, Holcombe and Ideford fight it out at various high level challenges: Drink and Spin, Space Hopper racing, Bale Rolling, Giant Sack races, a Steeplechase and the gruelling Tractor Pull.
