Gas Works Park

Our son took the day off work so he could spend time puttering around Seattle with us. It was great having someone else drive everywhere, especially someone who knew the out of the way places only a local knows. Gas Works Park is hardly an out of the way place, but the sun was shining and it seemed like a great day to walk the grounds and look at the abandoned machinery. Colorful patterns of pipes, valves, and wheels were everywhere. I had a difficult time choosing, but ended up liking the angles of pipe and splashes of color in this shot the best.
