Whitsunday Sunday

Whitsunday islands boat trip- first snorkelling at Hook island where we saw some incredible fish and reef, then across to Whitehaven Beach. Whitehaven has pure white silicone sand- if you didn't know better, you'd think you were walking on icing sugar- it even squeaked when we walked on it! Ry and I went for a walk through the rainforest to a viewpoint on the top of the island. Boat then went across to Daydream Island where we had another walk through the rainforest and saw a wallaby with her Joey peeking out of her pouch.
Throughout the day we were so lucky seeing whales from the boat as we were going along, with crystal clear water and sunshine all day.

Perfect day, finished off with a Mexican meal and margaritas in the evening.
