A maple tree in front

... of my house. I had all but given up on it a couple years ago when it had an illness that the County Service tree expert said would either kill it or run its course for 7 years and then be gone. This virus was infecting all the red maples in the county.
So, every year it is getting better and better with fewer signs of disease.
Of course, I have declared (within it's hearing) that I was searching for a tree surgeon. Not sure if that has helped it recover or not.
