In case you didn't know (he's been telling everyone so the chances are that you may have heard) O was 8 today. Simac arrived this morning with a remote control helicopter, cue much excitement.

While I broached the instruction booklet, O took a more 'hands-on' approach and, just as I started to read them, the 'copter sprang into life and became airborne - such is the difference between generations!

He went on the tour of Old Trafford this afternoon and capped the day off at Pizza Express where his ice cream arrived with a candle in it and everyone sang 'Happy Birthday'.
