Keep off the Grass..

...how very witty.

This was in the poison garden at Alnwick Castle, along with some fairly innocent looking plants such as rhubarb, nettles and dock.
There was also mandrake and hemlock which were beginning to sound a bit more interesting, and yew and laurel, both of which are perhaps a bit more toxic than you might have thought.

Anyone fancy a spot of salad?
