Airbus A380 lands at Manchester

I have wanted to see this for a long time. I've seen it fly over a couple of times but never 'up close'.

I take our pupils to the Airbus manufacturing site at Broughton near Chester where they make the wings for this. Where the wing meets the fuselage, it is about 10feet deep. The wings are enormous and go via barge to Mostyn, then by Ferry and road to Toulouse where the aircraft are assembled. It's a quite incredible operation.
