Turn that flash off...

Champers was not impressed when I took this photo. The fact that he was lying comfortably on part of the newspaper that I'd kept for a recipe I wanted to try was a minor detail.
Today was spent at the bank changing online details, having photos taken for my new ID document and getting quotes for the stolen articles as it looks as if the insurance may pay out after all. When hubby T went to get a duplicate spare key for the car (yes that was also in my handbag!) they found that the door lock had been tampered with. So that is "good" news.
Tomorrow is the day for hopefully getting another driver's license...we are driving to a place 100 kms away as they are more efficient there... the staff at the licensing office here are evidently on strike anyway!!
And so we carry on...
