Why would an adult , on his own, decamp to the Low Green and fly great big balloons like this?
I don't think it is technically a kite. There was a also a blow up daisy - like flower and a teddy bear which was floating about, face down! I think I saw a box kite as well.
They were all tethered to the ground. Poor mites!
