The more the merrier...

This morning I was greeted by a spider making a web on the front porch. Having had two cups of coffee I was "with it" enough to realize that a time-lapse opportunity was unfolding before my eyes.

Truth be told the same thing happened last week, but smaller spider+uncentered web+ Type A personality = not happy with the results.

So, I centred the ol' macro on the centre of the web, set a flash to fire into the ceiling for lighting, and set the wired timer to take a pic every 5 sec. 439 images later I have a spider building a web for 40 sec @ 10/frames/sec.

Since I really didn't put much effort into the capture, and I've posted plenty of individual spiders, I decided to let CS6 render me a multi-spider web building image by blending 10 layers, that were in focus, of the event.

I'm pleased with the 5-6 hours I pi$$ed away today...
