... tada!!!

Blip, this is Hamish. Hamish, this is Blip. :o)

Hamish is a Syrian Hamster who came home with me on Monday. This is the only (bounced!) flash-on shot I've taken so far. I don't want to give the poor boy a heart attack! But the sound of the auto focus seemed to bother him more than the flash did.

For those of you scratching your head, the drumroll photos were:

Sunday - his cage after set-up.
Monday - the cardboard box he chewed his way through on the way home ... in 10 minutes!
Tuesday - the light reflecting off his cage, with his hanging chew toy behind.

He's settling well so far. His favourite pastime is running. I'm going to hook his wheel up to the mains - he could see the whole village through this winter!!
