Surviving

I did a real hatchet job on our Philadelphus bush this year, after it had finished flowering and was concerned that I might have done serious damage, as there was only about one third of it left at the end of the process. The new shoots were being eaten by little black beasties!!

It has recovered and has lots of the lime green leaves which zing and a single white flower which was appreciated by this visitor!!
