On the razzle

Straight from work, me and Ed trooped up to London for a night out with three of our clients/friends. Quite a number of cocktails were consumed throughout the evening....
firstly at The Hospital Club in Covent Garden
secondly at Jazz After Dark, where these lads, all boys from William's (The Pink Peril) school, were performing. They are called London Red and they are exceptionally talented. Look out for them, folks. They are fantastic... and I'm not just saying that because I'd consumed about a pint of gin by the time they came on stage.
thirdly at Quaglino's. Yes, we were still able to walk in a reasonably straight line. At least we did actually get to eat something at last. It was great. I have never been there before but I always wanted to go, as it is a place that my parents used to frequent when I was a child. As a child I thought it must be the most magical, romantic and heavenly place when I watched my parents swish out of the house in all their finery.
fourthly... three of us managed to swig down a nightcap (madness) in a bar next to Victoria Station.
We finally fell on to the 2am train back to East Croydon............back to Ed's by 2.30am. I stayed what was left of the night sleeping above the office.
