Fruity detox day
I've started dieting on Monday, or rather started to work on the discipline to eat, drink and exercise sensibly, moderately and healthily for real. Hopefully it does mean I'll lose some of the way too many kilos I'm carrying around too, but more than anything else it's to be as healthy as possible.
Today I adapted the Hairy Dieters' crumpet recipe for breakfast (had an oatbran pancake instead of the crumpet) and I've prepared some citrus and cucumber detox water to quench my thirst/help the daily water intake. Simply slice some cucumber, lime, orange and lemon, add water and let it cool in the fridge for a couple of hours. I'm not a great fan of water (it just doesn't taste!) and have to force myself to drink enough water every day, so this detox water is a good alternative and apparently it's good for you too ! Now I'll have to try do something (shiver, oh no, housework!) before I get the munchies !
