Tiger

The expansive new tiger enclosure at Orana Park is looking much better now that the vegetation has grown. Last time we were there the ground was mostly bare. Although the vegetation isn't right for tiger habitat, at least the images look more natural now than they used to. It's also a great improvement over having them behind mesh fencing in their old cages.

It was much colder today than I was expecting, with a heavy overcast. So it was darker than I'd have liked, but much better for mammal photography than on a bright, sunny day.
