Fit for Purpose!

The finished gate - doing what it should be doing - and very handsomely too! Ollie is slightly bemused by it but he will get used to it, and if it stops him getting run over that's all I care about!

A damp and drizzly morning of typing minutes and doing other secretarial type bits and pieces, after our committee meeting on Monday evening. By lunchtime the day had improved greatly and we had a long good walk up on the hill. The air was full of busy noisy swallows. Not long now before they will be away south to sunnier climes. Much like ourselves . . . !
