Waterskiing... 600.

600 Blips today! Posted at 11.58pm... just on time!

I work for a really great company which organises loads of social events for the staff; the latest being an evening of waterskiing and a BBQ for a fiver. I went last fortnight and absolutely loved it, so convinced a couple of the ladies on my floor of the office to try it again with me tonight. Last time I managed to get from the training bar to a short rope quite quickly, and tonight progressed to the medium-length rope. I had a brilliant time, it's really exciting (and a bit scary)! It was the last organised session tonight, but I think M and I will definitely try it just ourselves one weekend. Just what was needed after a day of compiling overly-complicated spreadsheets in excel!

One of the girls from the office drove myself and a couple other non-drivers most of the way back to town, then took a bus for the last wee bit - soaking wet, lugging bags of wetsuits and towels, and still a bit hyper from the night's fun. Got home to find M already in bed, but I wanted to post my 600th on the right date, so am typing away in the dark. Photo credits to T from work, although I did set up the camera and have also combined two shots into one (I can't seem to smile and keep my eyes open simultaneously so had to do some photoshop trickery).

After a wee break of daily Blipping for a couple of months at the start of the year, I seem to be back on the wagon. I love being able to jump one year back and see what I was up to, and the writing is almost as important as the photo for me. Thanks to all those that stop by with kind comments, stars and hearts, and to Blipcentral for keeping everything ticking over nicely. Here's to the next 600! :o)
