End of the holiday adventure

Last day of the summer holidays today. I had taken the day off, I generally do, so we can have one last summer adventure.

Our adventure today took us out on the bikes, a picnic lunch, a trip to three different parks and ceramics painting. It was a grand wee day out. Snapped this shot as we were cycling home.

I think since Es started school 10 years ago these summer holidays have to be the best for weather that I can remember ...can't complain this year.

Despite being car-less for a good few of the weeks...and that saga still continues:-( ...we've had some great wee days out. Good times to look back on as we head back in to the routine of school and the the demanding schedule of Barmy Army activities:-)
