Water voles and dragonflies ..

What a brilliant way to spend the day!

I went back to Fingringhoe and sat by the water vole pond for four hours and got a few more glimpses, but not really any better photos than yesterday's ..

In the afternoon I generally mooched about and was rather pleased to get a couple of shots of a male Southern hawker inflight :)

At five I hit the road and headed home ... and was very pleased to find the foxes still here - they came trotting when I called them :)

I stopped on the way home - several times! - to try to get a shot of the sunset and the hot air balloon.

I think it requires techniques I don't have!
