Job done!

During the week-end we were supposed to build a bridge for cows to cross from one meadow to another in boggy land, but EU regulations have meant that th cows cannot be transferred to the meadows from another county and therefore we built a walk way for humans on a soggy bit of path.
This is the end result.
11 of us ranging from 17 to 75 - 5 men and 6 women - including 2 leaders to guide us.
Hard work, but great fun. You can't see the metre long posts which were banged into the ground to hold the framework for the walkway - but they are there! All done with hand tools.
We took it in turns to cook the main meal for evryone in the evening and I was involved in cooking 36 sausages, big tray of roast potatoes and another big tray of roasted veg. Certainly made a change from cooking for one.
Had a great time and met some interesting people.
