High hopes for the weekend

I know it is silly to be planning for good weather in Scotland five days away from the day when you want to be up there, however, the end of Festival Fireworks display on Sunday is always a stunning event and this year I want to get into the best possible place to capture some great shops of the display. This would be my ideal location but it could mean a day on the side of a hill hoping that Mother Nature is kind for the evening.

It certainly was a stunning view this evening as the sky lit up around sunset and carried on for a good half hour after.
