Swim meet

We took our granddaughter and her mother, father, and brother, out to dinner tonight to celebrate the end of her very successful end-of-the-season swimming competition. The competition lasted two long days, and thankfully the weather was great except for a little rain on Sunday morning. Her team won second place, and she earned three first place blue ribbons for winning her heats. She is rightfully pleased that she cut 20 seconds off her time in the freestyle event from the beginning of the season to the end. Way to go, Em! We're proud of you.
