Harvest

After the wonderful day yesterday - see the backblip - both the dogs and I needed a much quieter day and after my art class I gave them a reasonably short walk, foraging for wild raspberries as I went. Apart from a trip to the vet for booster jags for them both we spent the remainder of the day and early evening in the garden attending to harvesting produce and attempting to preserve it in some manner. Last year I lost most of my grapes to fungus and rot, probably as it was such a damp squib of a summer. Therefore this year I decided to harvest them all promptly but was wondering what then to do with them. I had a quick look on Google and swithered with drying them into raisins, but that seems to take a while so as i am off again in a few days I thought the best option this year would be to try freezing them. I am sure the purists among you will say that I should have snipped out some small grapes to make room for the others to swell, but I didn't! Anyway I now have three full trays open-freezing the little jewels which are so sweet and juicy they are glistening. Time will tell how successful this is .... have any of you frozen grapes before?
