Sloe Sunday

It's been a beautiful day, dry and sunny with gentle breezes. We saw so many sloes out which are looking healthy and plump and just waiting for the first frosts to be picked.

Our mobile phones played a piercing jaunty siren this afternoon around 3pm  as part of the nationwide test of the government's emergency alert system. Always good to know there'll be a warning if and when needed!
