JAGUAR GR1 XW563 ‘Spirit of Coltishall’ made its maiden flight in June 1970, and from 1985 to 2001 it was the ‘gate guardian’ at RAF Bruggen in West Germany, after which it was moved to RAF Coltishall just north of Norwich, and then to the grounds of Norfolk County Hall, where we passed it on our walk this afternoon. I think I have probably blipped it on a previous occasion.
