Casa Lis

The most wonderful Art Deco and Art Nouveau museum in Salamanca.

We had a fantastic day, driving through an arid and rash Spanish landscape. So few people. Such tradition. So many birds of prey - buzzards, vultures etc. Black bulls destined for the bullring. Pata Negra (specially reared black pigs to be made into the most exclusive jamon)

I could have posted any number of Gothic carved churches and palaces against deep blue sky. I could have posted the only spaceman carved on a cathedral........but the stained glass of the Casa Lis has made an unforgettable impression.
