An ancient tradition

Historically Leeds has had holiday Tuesdays. An extra day at Easter, Spring and August Bank Holidays.
They have all but disappeared in the private sector and even the council abandoned them a few years ago but the university still has them.
Most of today was spent reading a Kate Atkinson in the garden. Nice to be at home on a sunny day and not attached to e-mail.
