Fairy Toadstools?

Before our big party in mid-August, I was a manic garden tidier. I mowed, weeded and pruned until our outdoor home was looking its best. Since the wedding and honeymoon, I've been less focused and have let nature take its course.

Today I took a wander up to the compost heap and on my return spotted these fungi growing onand around our old tree stump. I rather like them - I just hope that its part of the natural decomposition and that they won't do any damage to the plants growing beside. For now, anyway - they're staying as Eric says that he spotted fairies dancing!
