Floaty

I spotted this in the lobby as I was leaving work this evening. There were lots more in the car park, but I didn't dwell too much on where they had come from.

I'm still feeling a bit floaty after all the loveliness of the weekend. Lots of loveliness without spending vast amounts of money. The festival on Saturday was free, I got into Folk East free as I was performing, we took our own drinks and picnics.

Our one extravagance was to rent a car for the weekend. If we hadn't done that we wouldn't have been able to go to the events. This weekend has been our holiday for the year so I don't think having a car for the weekend was reckless or profligate.

This coming weekend, on Sunday, we are going to the Burston Strike School rally. Burston is a small village about an hour away from Norwich and the annual rally commemorates the longest running strike in British history. It's free to attend, there is a brass band, speakers, stalls and transport from various locations is being provided by several Unions and Trades Councils.

And the singer/songwriter Leon Rosselson is appearing.
