Doris

I haven’t done one of these in absolutely ages. As in previous years, I *really* enjoyed mooching about the low tide, Southend mud at dawn, watching and hearing the world slowly wake up. I’m still not so in love with this sort of picture but will stop here on that subject before I go into one :) For those that are interested, this is the same boat that’s in this shot and goes by the lovely name of “Doris”.

On a completely different subject, I changed oil and filter on the bike (Triumph) yesterday and am wondering why screwing on the new filter to the recommended torque settings managed the flatten the angled edges of the thing so it will be impossible to get off next year. I don’t usually put this sort of info here but will probably revisit this post in 12 months time along with a lot of swearing.
