Mother Culture
Tim and l walked into Hebden Bridge along the canal and river paths while Adele did a HIT class.
Of course we took Peggy, We went to Mother Culture a popular bakery there, see extra.
We were about thirtieth in the queue which came out of the shop and down the street.
Almond Croissants for Adele and l , ordinary croissants for Tim and the boys along with a loaf and some Pain Swiss. Took them back to enjoy together. Of course l had to compare it to my favourite almond croissant from Grassington. So difficult - the lamination on this one was perfect but too much almond paste in the centre for my liking.
Gave Tim and Adele a lift into Halifax on my way home as they were meeting friends for food and drinks, l could have gone too but l’m at YorkGate tomorrow so needed to attend to a few things at home.
And quite frankly after that croissant l can’t imagine eating again for another few hours if at all today.
