The world's shortest....

Wick was bathed in early golden  sunshine when I walked along the river before breakfast this morning.

Last night we held a very  interesting and lively public meeting about Land Reform and this morning I will  chair the regular Scottish Land Commission Board Meeting, taking place in the Norseman Hotel. 

This view of the Wick Bridge includes MacKay's  Hotel (where I stayed the last time I was here ) and therefore of course it also  features the world's shortest street - Ebenezer  Place - which is , in its totality , the narrow end of the hotel building.
