A Girl On The Run

One option
is to imagine
a difficult childhood
and a shadowy past
for the girl on the run
but my preferred interpretation
is to picture her
running in sunshine
and letting her 'shadowy past'
(if she has one?)
head off in the opposite direction -
then she's free
to race into her future
which will be glorious
and in technicolour.
