COLOURING IN THE CONSERVATORY

Hello Lovely Blippers,

It’s quite a dull day today, so although we really wanted to go out into the garden to play, Mr. HCB said it was too damp on the grass for us all to play, so he suggested that we did some colouring.  We were a bit disappointed, but as he is a gardener, and knows what he is talking about, we decided that we would do as he suggested and then go out perhaps this afternoon.

We all love colouring anyway, and find it very relaxing - and there are always lots of colouring pencils and books for us to use because Mrs. HCB likes colouring too.  You can see their lovely garden through the window, and lots of the flowers are still blooming, as you will know, from seeing Mrs. HCB’s collage yesterday.  

Mr. & Mrs. HCB are going out to a special service today at their Church - a new Minister is being “inducted” if you know what that means!  We had to ask Mr. Google what this meant and he said : 

“Inducted - to admit someone formally to a post or organisation.”  

Well, we know that’s right, because Mick, the new Minister, is being formally welcomed at the service today, although he started his job last Monday, 1st September.  He seems a great chap and no doubt the HCBs will ask him over for a meal sometime to get to know him better, so if they do, we will try to ensure that it’s on a Saturday and perhaps he would be happy to have his photograph taken with all of us!  

We need to let the HCBs get ready because Mr. HCB is on stewarding duties and Mrs. HCB is singing, so they need to go quite soon.  

Hope you all have a great day and all that remains is for us to remind you to BE KIND - because YOU could be the one who helps someone a lot, especially if they are feeling sad for some reason.

Have a good weekend and we look forward to seeing you next week - however, we may be a depleted bunch because the HCBs are going on holiday and have told us we can’t all go.  We think that’s a bit of a swizz, but they said there isn’t room for us all - so we hope there will be lots of goodies left for those who have to stay behind - we will certainly be searching!
