Yorkshire moors early morning fog
Today we set off early for a final day trip to the coast. We were on the road before 8am, driving through the moors - where fog was in abundance - until we got to the sunny hills and winding roads above Robin Hood's Bay.
We had a wander round the village, and onto the beach, just before the serious bucket and spade tourists got there. I was brave enough to de-shoe, and stuck my feet into the freezing North Sea!
We then ventured on to Whitby, parked at the abbey and walked into the town - along the sea front - and then up to Botham's of Whitby to purchase the best lemon iced buns in the world! X
