Visitors

Last night we hosted cycle tourists Alexander and Simone, who have given up their home lives in Kiel, N. Germany for a year to travel by bike. We fed them with bean and tomato soup from the garden and veggie cottage pie, followed by ice cream. They had seconds of everything! We had a lovely, hilarious evening with them and got on really well, even when, after having told them about my 1990 bike ride across the USA, Alexander pointed out that he wasn’t born until the following year.
Feeling old.
