Tree Planting

This morning was the last of my NHS Talking Therapy sessions. We looked back over the previous 7 appointments and saw the achievements I have made and how they came about.  She made notes and gave me a personalised sheet to bring away to refer to so that I stay on track for keeping happy and positive about things!  Well worth it.

Later on in the morning we went up to Eycott Hill for an oak tree-planting ceremony. The planting was being done in memory of a couple who had been devoted in their work to support the Cumbria Wildlife Trust through our local group for many, many years. They even provided some money towards the purchase of this site.

CWT sent 6 staff to the event which was attended by the couples daughter, 5 of us from the Penrith group and a friend of the family. Back at the car park the CWT provided refreshments and cake!

I wasn't particularly taking shots for blipping BUT, when I went to the village shop this afternoon .......... they didn't sell Jelly Babies. (imagine horror-struck emoji here)
