Colosseum in the Rain

You can't keep a bus load of happy tourists dry. Well maybe you can, but not our group. Today. We visited the ancient ruins. We kept to the inside of the colosseum for as long as we could watching a very heavy rain storm with crashing thunder and many lightning bolts. We watched puddles form and we craned our necks. We ended up soaked to the bone. Came back to the hotel early and slid into a hot Roman Bath in my own hotel room. Nice.
