I seem to have a new bug

The bug isn’t just about compiling and making CD playists, it’s writing about them as well. I started with, Some Under The Radar Beatles Songs, then I did Under The Radar Dylan, and I’ve just completed, SMiLE and The SMiLE Legacy. In case you don’t know, SMiLE was a groundbreaking Beach Boys album which was unreleased at the time (1967). It’s now available via this recent boxed set. You might ask, why does any of this matter? Well it matters to me. It’s nothing whatsoever to do with nostalgia. Would you ask an archaeologist whether their digs are “nostalgic?” No. It’s to do with timeless music. No one calls Mozart “nostalgia.” Great music is great music whether it was produced in the 20th century or the 18th.
