My ever willing Rudbeckia in full flower

I love the arrival the rudbcewkia's flowers which provide such brilliance as summer leads into autumn.

This plant is in a pot just above the patio and below my office window. All I had do was lean out and zoom in. Instead I went outside and used a macro lens from the steps just above the flowers.

I've nearly killed it several times by under watering and seldom give it any feed, but it 'shines on brightly' every year, to coin a 60s song title..
