Well, despite trying to hold off until we got home from this trip Isaac has started weaning! It was getting to the stage I just felt cruel stopping him from trying food, he was so desperate, and by the way he grabbed the toast straight away and started sucking on it (even managing to swallow a few bits!) I know he was definitely ready. We are doing baby led weaning this time. I kind of started it last time but wasn't confident enough and ended up doing a bit of both. This time we are just going straight in, no purees or mush. So far he's had toast a few times, a piece of crusty bread, banana and some pepper. We are having roast chicken for dinner so no doubt he's going to have some of that too! I already feel much more relaxed than I did with Amelie. I'm quite looking forward to it actually apart from the mess!
