Conkers
I have been watching this horse chestnut tree for a few weeks as the leaves have been changing to brown and shrivelling. Struggling with the lack of water. Today I noticed the conkers were beginning to fall but they haven't any spikes on them. So haven't formed properly. Hopefully the tree will recover next year.
At last we have had a decent amount of rain.
So no watering needed.
Extra is a WhatsApp photo of Jude as he set off for his first day at his new ' proper' school on Tuesday.
He loves it and his teacher is very pleased with him and apparently he has already got two stars.
He is now at the same first school where both our sons went. Following in his granddad's footsteps.
Little Leo has also started at nursery and he too has settled in well.
So proud of them both.
