Why, oh why?  Because we are here overnight before catching a ferry from Poole to St.Malo, then onwards & downwards through la belle France to sunny España.
7 hour drive south today.  Only the M6 presented challenges, mainly between M'chr & B'ham.
Intermittent heavy rain accompanied by nonsensical variable speed restrictions for non-existant roadworks.  Even the Beeb got their travel heads-up totally wrong.
Never mind, pan et patè ramorra soir.
