Sheep Shelter

Just after 8.30am I arrived at SilverImages house and not long afterwards we were at a Cafe in Pontypool (South Wales, UK) for a full cooked breakfast

I had no idea what Ken had planned so was pleased when he mentioned going to Gelligaer area. The rain and changing clouds and light made for some lovely mountainous photography, before our descent a few miles later off the exposed common into the village of Fochriw, near Bargoed. I shouted for Ken to stop the car when I spotted a sheep inside the bus shelter with a couple more outside. It was pouring with rain so I don't blame it! I took its photo' from inside the car!

After a couple of other stops we ended in Tredegar for an afternoon cuppa and cake, followed by a further stop at an old church on the way back to our start. A swift coffee before heading home. Great visiting some of my old haunts from when I lived in Wales.
