The Runners

Another statue(s) I found in Santa Fe...this one is of three runners who carried messages to the various Pueblos, initiating the uprising of 1680 against the Spanish.

New Mexico territory has been under several flags, but the Spanish left the biggest mark on our culture that we see even today.
