Tribute to Moi

A very dear friend for close to 18 years!

Dearly beloved Moira du Toit passed away at about 13:00 today, after a very long suffering! She was just in her early fifties, and such a lovely person, we are só sad and feel so sorry for her dear husband, her only son and her very elderly mother, a cancer sufferer as well, as well as for her two brothers, of which the eldest, Clifford, is working in Iraq as well and could not be evacuated to attend!

She fought the Bone Marrow Cancer só bravely for more than 31 months! Her lovely husband, Phillip, worked in Iraq for almost the whole time of her suffering, to be able to earn enough money to ensure just the very best of treatment for her! But sadly, she passed on today, less than 24hours after he was evacuated to be with her in her last days!

Her only child, Daryl, sat next to her bed for most of the time the past four weeks, with her on dialyses almost daily and in a coma more than often! That lovely young man is totally heartbroken tonight!
