Deterrent!

Postie's day off, and he spent a lot of it making a gate for the front garden. Beautifully crafted and pegged together with dowels. He did go for a sail in the afternoon!

The road along through the village is single track, with the sea on one side and the houses on the other. Ollie prefers to be on the sea side, which is actually part of our property, where he wanders about on the shore, sits on the grass and keeps an eye on things! There is not very much traffic on the road, but unfortunately a lot of what there is tends to hurtle past, and we don't want to see Ollie squashed, so we've decided to put up a gate. The bonus is that not only will it keep him in, it will keep other dogs out!
