DIY

A recent storm blew our back gate clean off its hinges. We organised for our usual builder to come with a mate who could fix it but the day before the appointed time they both came down with serious medical issues.
Our friend, Robb, is very handy and always keen to help out so he and Mr isbi spent the afternoon sawing it down to a more wind proof size and rehanging it.

I've spent the day organising what to take to Canada next week. There are so many fiddly things to attend to.
Julia rang and when I said I was packing she asked what for! I don't think the young ones consider it till the day before. 
Even Mr isbi has given it some thought.
